FRESHMAN ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 08/09 WAS A SUCCESS!

So damn happy lah. no more SB club matters for now* GRINS*
The past few days had been tiring. Well, not as tiring as the facilitators and the coordinators though.
7th April:
Woke up, not feeling good. Was pissed off for no reason. HA!
Further on, facilitators and coordinators arrived late, and some was giving attitude. Roar. More than 60 facilitators were in one room. stuffy & hot! goodness.
But Events team was handling it well and also khady, sorting the attendance and the shirts.
Registration was a bit chaotic, because no sound system from that club. %^$#@^#!
But it went alright, i guess. Luckily for the mlt heads(:
No wet weather that day, though at times it seemed threatening, but luckily it did not rain.

8th april:
SPCC. Was damn tired, and i fell asleep on the way to sch. heh. The day started off with unexpected surprises. XXX arrived early. Gave me some nasty shock. Freshies were not even there yet. Attendace was bad that day, i think. 3/4 full only.
Speech was alright, i got plenty of butterflies in my stomach. I rehearsed lots of times before i go to sleep! HA!
The whole programme went on smoothly. It was short, yet fun(:
Me and Edsmond had a tough time deciding the people who could get into the semi-finals.
And our stomachs were growling badly.hee xD

9th april:
was not around. the pain in my leg was killing me.
Luckily, Edsmond was there:D

10th april:
Finally, the end of FOP. Flag day!
Natalie, Justina, Mr Alex Lum and me count notes till we stink of money.
While the others measured coins and everything.
first time, I am seeing so much money yet not so happy.
HAHA. Too tiring to feel happy!

DBA got the highest amt!woohooo! I felt super happy lah.
Finally.DBA achieved something good. Though they are not as high as DBF & DTRM.
GO DBA!all the rest can go fly kite :P

Coordinators: stationmasters, ushers. You guys did a great job! Stations games went pretty well even though not all the freshies went to your stations, because simply we do not have enough time. great job, because they complained they did not have enough time and they wanted to finish all!
special thanks to Juan Hui, Jeremy, You Wei, Guoquan, Ivan for coming back to help. It was kind of last minute though but really glad u guys managed and were willing to come back to help.
MLT heads:
Mamata: you and your KA-BOOM!lol. You are forever noisy, even in the morning! great to see u active in SB club activties, since grad ball!

Weirong: You were not so blur afterall. Don't worry, u did pretty good job.heh.

Kuan Huai: i only know u lke geography and is a nerd!great job! :D

Zhen guang: FOC camper mate kungfu pie! wahhah! knew that i could count on you since your fellow friend back out. Thanks for being so enthu! (:

Samantha: gonna see you for 2 more years. really great that you did not grumble much abt being mlt head, it caught you by surprise!thank you ah sam! (:

Nana: hah. Though unhappy at first, glad you were alright in the end. hope u enjoy your dhrmp class and i shall see you & sam wen sch starts! 2 more yrs! xD

all: Thank you so much for reporting earlier than others just for briefings. Especially in the mornigns. And being mlt head was not easy either. Keeping track of your facils and taking care of your class at the same time. Know that some of you are not very willing to be mlt heads, but because u were assigned to. big thank you!

fellow harry potter fan! you and your harry potter spells! It was fun working with you,because we worked hard and had fun at the same time.Really thank you for taking over yesterday because I was not there.
I have got a pretty good vice chair, except that you are more fierce than me!
Despite some misunderstandings and unhappiness, i hope that you have fun c0-chairing this event! really thank you making this event an success! and also giving me& others severe injuries! xD AND those crazy last minutes stuff to be done and phone calls made us go sian sometimes, but we still managed it(:

Secretary/Treasurer:khady, the one with smelly armpits!HA!

Though other people's jobs had finished, but yours had just started. Sorry for pressing you for those meeting minutes and to remind other dept heads of those upcoming meetings.
And trouble you to bring laptop everytime because u need to take minutes! Really great job, khady! SOA, and the upcoming reimbursement. heh! JIAYOU OKAY!

EVENTS:

Lishi, the food monster! heh! It had been great having you in the events team! You can lead equally as well as others! Good planning and really thanks for staying back that sunday to finish up everything. Knew you were tired but you still managed to do everything you were supposed to.And you could adhere your program flows to last minute changes. this week, you were not even late lah! (:


Carrie, for a small person, you got a loud voice! could hear you laughing from staff area when i was at the conference room. xD Well, sorry to put you in events again, especially after the FOC. You are indeed suitable to be in events dept:D

EVENTS had did a terrific job!

Jordan, though u MIA for a while in the beginning, but glad you made the effort to catch up with Lishi and carrie. And being the sai kang king for events(: u kept kop-ing things from sponsors lah! toothpaste! LOL. and your burping are disgusting! haha!

Publications:

Cecilia, the banner and brochures were pretty. We had the best brochures among other clubs! (: You managed your time between work and sb club well!

Justina, HAHA!everytime i see you, i will burst out laughing! you and your stupid antics! since GYL! yur banana cheer! You and darryl make the whole ambience of working to be pretty relaxed and fun. Thanks!and your hand is quite small! cant take lots of notes! (:

Flora, i did not realized we got some common stuff. haha.
same dance teacher.goodness. great knowing u since amazing race! you were not so high back then! anyway, your photoshop was fab! though u belong to another sch now, dunn be too sad okay!in my heart, u are still one of sb club ppl, and business student! (: Thank you for being active during grad ball too! thank you for the korea souvenirs! and the seaweed! :D

Natalie WOOO, your surname really rocks lah. Glad to know you, cuz last few sems we were only lecture mates! great job for log! I must say you guys are really united, to the extent of baking things for whole OC!and being one of the note ladies today! heh!

Darryl, no adam apple is okay! Log did a fab job anyway. Thanks for rushing that day to convention centre for just a rehearsal. And missed out other stuff. thanks huh! and you and justina are born entertainers man! haha! thanks to you and her, the working envmt is happy and crazy! (:
